PERSON OF THE WEEK

STEVE SPAIN – let it be known, Steve rocks. One of Cov’s original and longest serving skaters, Steve is known for 2 things – Slash Grinds and loud layback reverts (see his “feline” revert in the Ride video Humble Jumble). Here’s a bit of trivia about the man; he put forward a legendary park design idea for Covpark, that featured a bowl with pool coping. The model for the park idea is still at his house, and has been skated by many a tech deck.

He’s seriously one of the nicest guys in the Cov scene, always offering encouragement to the younger skaters in our scene as well as just downright ruling on a board. As long as people like Steve are skating, the scene in Cov is always gonna be rad. Props to Steve Spain, this week’s Person Of The Week.
