Hardcore is all in! Started putting the chicken wire in, which will act as rebar when we pour the concrete. Also used a rough mortar mix to fix the first two coping blocks in place!

The digging has finished! I’m now putting hardcore down on the deck and the transitions. Also put a coping stone in to measure up the slabs for the big deck. It’s coming together!

Putting down more foundation slabs, and levelling out the flatbottom of the ramp. Almost ready for hardcore, which means we’re fully on the road to putting in some concrete!!

Been really busy digging and redistributing dirt. Laying slabs down as a foundation for gutter side of the flatbottom. Coping stones have also arrived!!

We’re teaming up with SOS Warwickshire and Lesser to bring a fancy dress Halloween comp to Vicki Park Skatepark. Come down and get your freak on with different competitions around the skatepark, as well as more festive competitions such as Apple Bobbing!

Project TF entry 4 - It’s been slow going building the second retaining wall. Slow, laborious, tough work - dig, saw a fence post, mallet it in, repeat. Added guide timbers for the deck next to the veg patch, and started to prepare the fence end for the deck frame.
