Hibernation Station

This weekend marks the end of Hibernate Skate 2010. It’s been a wild ride, and Terribleco’s edit is looking swanky as hell. Today, we’re making a last ditch effort to try and score some extra points. We were meant to go skateboarding, but I’m not sure how likely that is given the awful weather outside.

With this in mind, I just wanted to say thanks to Cov’s own Andy Scott for putting this all together – Skateboarding in the winter (especially in Coventry) can be desperate, depressing, frustrating and sometimes a chore. It’s innovative ideas like Hibernate Skate that keeps skateboarding fresh and interesting in the times when you’re sitting at home in the warm, looking at the bitter weather outside, wishing it was summer, when you could just go out in shorts and bust a frontside air without thinking you’re going to land in a puddle or slam on cold concrete.

Put us down to enter again next year!
