On September 23rd 2023, a shop which provided a driving force for the Coventry skate scene closed it’s doors after 24 years. As a final farewell, the chaps who ran the shop put on a huge skatepark session at Creation Skatepark in the evening after the shop closed. This is a collection of skateboarding footage from that evening.
Ride was a huge supporting presence for the local skate scene, and it’s absence will be felt immensely. The Terrible Company, as a blog about the scene in the city, only managed to grow, improve and expand through support from Jim The Skin, and the rest of the staff at Ride – The legacy of the shop will be felt in the city for years to come.
