So I just sat down and watched Forde Brookfield’s latest vid, Baghead Kills Pt. II. Here are some thoughts off the back of that:
– I guess footplant variations are back in fashion in a big way. I fucking really happy about that. Footplants rules.
– I still don’t understand grime in skate videos. It doesn’t annoy me, I just don’t understand it.
– UK spots are so damn grimey that i’m unsure how any of us land anything at them.
– The best skate videos use an eclectic mix of all music. I know I said I don’t understand grime in skate vids, but i’m glad there’s a good mix of different music in the vid.
– Street transitions are the fucking best.
– Cov Uni Security continue to be the biggest arseholes. They are part of the problem, they make the skatepark situation in Cov worse, and they need 10 of them to crowd Stan Byrne whilst he gets arrested for I can only assume was an accident caused by one of their security. Fuck Cov Uni Security and #freestanbyrne
Overall, rad video, well done to Forde and the Baghead Crew. Definitely enjoying the super sweary stickers too. My favourite is “Football is fucking gay”. Good job all round peeps!
