So as you may well know, Terribleco is organising a massive skateboarding, BMX and inline event outside the Transport Museum called “The Summer Jam”; this involves a rad temporary skatepark being open to YOU GUYS for two separate 3 day sessions (as well as an epic competition on the last day). As this is primarily a Council event, on a fairly grand scale, it is required that EVERYONE who rides the temporary skatepark has to fill out a consent form (even me). The form has multiple purposes; It gains you entry to the park, it gives you a “registration code” that will link to every other activity you do at the skatepark, it gives you automatic entry into the competitions (if you want to enter), it notes your emergency contact in case of a really bad accident, and it helps those filming or taking photos to recognise whether you wish to be filmed (who doesn’t like getting footage, right?).
It’ll take just a minute of your time to fill it in, and if you’re under 18 you will unfortunately need the permission or signature of your parental units on that form – no forgeries!!! Bring the completed form with you whenever you first turn up to the temporary park, and you can get in pretty much straight away if the info is all legit. Bring on 31st July!
