After the demolition of the frankly dangerous mini ramp at Kenilworth, it appears there are no plans to replace it. With the rest of the skatepark consisting of the new concrete block obstacle, and a bunch of poorly constructed playground ramps, the locals really need our help to try and improve the facility. Sign the above petition and let’s see if we can improve the situation.
Kenilworth is literally a 10 minute drive away from Covpark, which makes the locals at that park part of our scene. However, without a Council the size of Coventry’s, it’s difficult for the locals to push for a better skatepark. Strength in numbers might change this, and if we manage to reach the same numbers that the Cov Skatepark Petition reached, the Council in Kenilworth might be more willing to take notice.
