“No Comply For Old Men”, the first episode of “Red Cross”, has gone down well with you guys. I’ve been taking in the reviews from the land of facebook, and here’s what skateboarders of the internet have to say about Terribleco’s latest foray into visual entertainment.
- “its sick man! dont know how you manage to get 20mins of pure footy. im stuggling to get a minutes worth!” – David Hall
- “hey ade. just watched the first part of no comply for old men. blew my mind man. cant wait for the next parts.” – Adam Nicholson
- “fukin epic…..who the fuk needs thrasher when they have TerribleCo? Manda is retarded yo!” – Edd Cullen, AKA the Camera Mandem from Leamington
- “pretty cool dude” – Tom Albrow keeps it short but sweet
- “All hail the fountain! Nice one Ade – schralp soon!” – Simon Pegler AKA “Pigdog” for anyone who’s versed in the ways of the Sidewalk forum.
- “Good job dude, good job indeed 😀 I like the Tommy Lee Jones clip 😀 (As well as all the sick skating)” – Ralph Cooper
So with a first chapter that has gotten some good feedback from skaters of all backgrounds, it’s time to crack on with episode 2 – titled “Uncle Buck Who Can Record His Past Lives”. We have, however, ran into a small problem. Everyone seemed to agree that Alex McGhie’s section was, pardon my French, “fucking badass”, so in order to follow suit, the closing section for episode 2 needs to be just as good. I’ve got some guys in mind, so I’m gonna be seeing how the episode progresses. I’ve already planned to give the final sections in episodes 3 and 4 to two Ride team members (guess who the magical duo are, and I might give you a t-shirt), so Episode 2’s closing section will have to be something special – I’ll keep you all updated.
