Hibernate Skate Update

First things first, there are way too many words ending in ate in the title of this post.

January was a slow month for team Terribleco. We didn’t tick off many challenges, because we’d spent so much time eating at Christmas and were too fat to get radical. After taking part in the “James White diet program”, we got back on our boards in mid-January and continued to re-learn our go-to tricks. Joxa allowed his ankle to heal, and got back on his shred machine this week.

With most of our team back on it and ready to kill it, we took to the Boardroom last wednesday, where we attempted to “skate something dangerous”. I’m not sure if the temporary extension on the boardroom bowl can be classed as dangerous, but it felt horrible to skate, as it’s literally a block that’s been attached to the top of the bowl. Tez backside disastered it, I did a boneless out of it, and Chris filmed both tricks. Whether that challenge counts or not remains to be seen. I also managed to do a dark sweeper, and even though I was convinced it was a weekly challenge, it appears I was mistaken. You win some, you lose some.

Yesterday we went over to Burton-upon-trent, where Joxa rolled in on the vert wall. Rosko made his first appearance in the whole damn competition thus far, and we managed to slay a whole load of weekly challenges that were right up his alley, including an Earlygrab Fingerflip. Rosko and I also got our teamwork skills on as I started a kickflip that he landed.

Not to give away where we are points-wise, but it feels like we’ve been racking them up. We’re gonna head out with Ralph and Tez sometime this week and slay a whole load of street ones for an extra points boost. The Terribly Rad Scones are gonna be a fierce team to beat, however they’re our only competition unfortunately the other 2 teams dropped out. With less than a month to go, you can expect the next update to be the finished edit, where our final points total will be revealed.

Time to show everyone why Terribleco has made your life worse since 2003.
