Yes, it would appear I’ve spent a lot of time just re-posting stuff other people have done – however I’m a busy man and Christmas is one hell of a busy time of year. I’ll post an edit soon to make up for it.
What we have above is the newest issue of Summer Skateboarding Magazine. Issue 2 focuses heavily on Birmingham, with articles about Ideal, Kelley Dawson, Third Foot and featuring others who have at some point been connected to the Birmingham scene. Speaking of which, some of you may or may not know that Cov’s lanky transition killer with a penchant for “vert socks”, Harry Myers, was at one point an Epic local and even did a bit of volunteering doing work for them. As such, it might be that reason (or maybe because the guys at Summer wanted to put a photo of him in) that lead to one of Garry Jones’ photos of Harry appearing in this very issue.
Part 2 of why you should care about this particular magazine is because next issue is Cov’s turn to get some coverage. Expect interviews from myself, Jim The Skin, Tez Aldersley and the guy I just mentioned in the above paragraph. There’s also a planned article about the Swompton bowl and I might try and get a few words from Swampy himself for the article (Swampy, if you’re reading this, send me a message of some kind and we can sort out the article).
