This weekend thus far;
– 2 rad days of skateboarding.
– 3 sick skateparks.
– 1 minor car crash and 1 near collision.
– Countless powerslides from Tom Albrow in a wet bowl.
– 3 and a half hours of sleeping on the floor due to fear of Carbon Monoxide poisoning.
– 9 hours on the road.
– 60 pounds worth of petrol.
– 1 misunderstanding of organisation brought on by lack of sleep.
– 2 birthday skate sessions at the same time at Saffron Walden.
– 5 awesome books given as presents.
– THE KING OF BURTON.
– Mofugga’s fake wife.
– Tom Carr offering me a job at Route One. Dunno if that was a joke or not.
– Pigdog telling me that Derby Grinds are also known as Nancy Regans.
– 2 fast food dinners consumed at service stations.
– 1 really happy guy that caused Joxa to shout “I FUCKING LOVE BRISTOL”.
– A 3 car convoy comprising of 14 people, all leaving the same place at the same time, but then getting instantly lost from each other and arriving at Saffron Walden skatepark at completely different times.
– 1 sick weekend with some awesome people. If you weren’t there, then don’t worry, I want you to be there next year.
