WEEKLY COMP WINNER

Ok, so this week’s comp went on a little longer than usual – but we’ve got a bigger prize up for grabs, with a bit more of a time consuming style of comp, so I thought it made sense.

Anyway, the comp was to create an alternative DVD cover for CTHULHU. I’m not planning on changing what I’ve got… because, to be honest, I really like the completely blank and minimalist look of the one I did. That was never the plan, though… the plan was to get you lot to create something in order to earn your keep and, in turn, get a free DVD and a t-shirt. 

Before I announce the winner, we had one more entry whilst I was away, and that was Harry Myers, here’s what he put forward;

Tony Lui tried entering TWICE. I’m sure this doesn’t need to be said, but entering twice ain’t allowed.

Anyway, on to the winner. Some of you with more technical skills won’t like this, but I chose someone who didn’t use any photoshop magic. The winner of this weekly comp is STAN BYRNE, who produced something a little bit different, and it made me laugh;

I mean, “Have mild fun”? What is that all about? And the whole business with the drawing being done on what is clearly a back page from a planner/notebook? Bottom line; I liked the idea, I thought it was pretty cool and off the wall, so Stan wins the prize.
