So, Stratford-Upon-Avon’s vert ramp has been permanently removed (as well as half of the park). It would seem that Stratford council sneaked in whilst the heavy rain was pouring down at the beginning of this week and tore down Joxa’s favourite ramp – and now every skater in the surrounding area is looking to the council to provide something decent to replace it. Some have suggested skating new architecture in the city centre to make a stand, whilst the group posted above is attempting to put together a formal petition that will hopefully sway the council to replace what has been removed with something better. If you regularly visit this blog, then you must know that after years of hard work we’re doing something positive with the council to build a new skatepark here in Coventry; it’s only fair to show your support for skaters all over Warwickshire who are struggling to get a skatepark that echoes modern needs and design.
